C. PISO L.F. Frugi, (c.67 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.732 grams), obv. Apollo head to right with fillet, symbol behind, rev. C. PISO L.F. FRV. across, below naked horseman with palm, galloping to right, II above, (S.348 [Å“150 EF], Cr.408/1, Syd.847, RSC Calpurnia 24aa). Toned, good very fine, off centred reverse.
