AUGUSTUS, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), AE dupondius or as, Nemausus mint, issued 10 B.C. - A.D. 10, (11.88 grams), obv. laureate head of Agrippa to left and laureate head of Augustus to right, above IMP below DIVI F, dotted border, rev. COL NEM on either side of palm-shoot, chained crocodile below, wreath above, (S.1730, RIC 158). Attractive light patina with overall attractive appearance, otherwise nearly very fine and rare.
