JUSTINIAN I, (A.D. 527-565), AE follis, Constantinople mint, (24.05 grams) issued year 14 = A.D. 540-1, officina **D*, obv. Justinian bust facing, DN IVSTINI ANVS PP AVC, rev. M, year X/II/II, CON in exergue, large thick flan, (S.163, DOC.39d, BMC 54, R.504). Dirt over dark green patination, otherwise very fine.
