SEAMAN'S TOKEN, on cartwheel penny, obverse, stippled design of sailing ship right, reverse, stippled design of crown with V and R at sides, below 'W.Moor / AD. 22. 1838 / D.Moor / AD 19'. Pierced at top for suspension, fine.

Possibly a commemorative piece for coronation of Queen Victoria in 1838 by sailors, W.Moor aged 22 and D.Moor aged 19 or perhaps a gift from W.Moor to his wife, D.Moor.
