THIRD ISSUE, proof ten pounds, uniface, Napier, 1st March 1881, imprint of Perkins Bacon & Co London Patent Hardened Steel Plate, Manager area with rectangular cut out, 'to this 2nd May 1881' added in pencil in centre (Robb.M.356b; L.526; P.S358). Remnants of glue stains on back in corners, otherwise good very fine.
