CENTENARY OF THE ROYAL OLD WELL, Cheltenham, 1838, in white metal (oval 57mm x 47mm) by T.W.Ingram (BHM 1883), obverse, view of the well and church tower within an avenue of trees, reverse, 'To / Commemorate / The Centenary / Of The / Royal Old Wells / Cheltenham / Established / August / 1738', Latin legend around edge. A few spots of surface corrosion on reverse otherwise nearly extremely fine.

Together with letter from Borough of Cheltenham Public Libraries dated 1971 explaining the details for the medal.
