PELOPONNESOS, Sikyonia, Sikyon, silver triobol, (90's - 60's B.C.), (1.97 grams), obv. dove flying to left, rev. **S* in shallow incuse square, in three lines **PRO/MA CI/DAS*, (cf.S.2777, BCD 345 [p.97], BMC 200 [p.52], SNG Cop. 102 [Pl.1], McClean 6299 [p.403]). Lightly toned, very fine and rare.
Ex BCD Collection with his ticket and previously from Glendinings London, March 5, 1980 (lot 185 part).
