AUGUSTUS, (27 B.C. - 14 A.D.), plated silver denarius (3.21 grams), Colonia Caesaraugusta mint, issued 19-18 B.C., obv. bare head of Augustus to right, around CAESAR AVGVSTVS, dotted border, rev. MARTIS VLTORIS vertically at sides of temple of four columns within which stands Mars to left, (S.-, RIC 39a [R4], RSC 205, BMCRE 329). Traces of exposed core, otherwise nearly fine and extremely rare, lot with collector's card description.
