AUGUSTUS, (27 B.C. - 14 A.D.), silver denarius (3.19 grams), Colonia Patricia mint, issued 18-16 B.C., obv. laureate head of Augustus to right, dotted border, rev. AVGVSTVS in exergue, capricorn to right holding globe and rudder, cornucopiae on its back, (S.1592, RIC 126, RSC 21; BMCRE 346 = BMCRR Rome 4374). Cut in edge at top of coin, possibly once mounted, otherwise good fine and rare, lot with collector's card description.
