OTHO, (A.D. 69), silver denarius, issued 69, Rome mint, (3.37 grams), obv. bare head to right of Otho, around [IMP M] OTHO CAESAR AVG TR P, rev. Ceres standing to left, holding two corn ears and cornucopiae, around PONT MA[X], (cf.S.2158, BMC 9, RIC 20 [noted only as a gold aureus], RSC 11). Short on flan, nearly extremely fine and rare.
