VESPASIAN, (A.D. 69-79), AE dupondius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 72-73, (15.15 grams), obv. radiate head of Vespasian to right, around IMP CAES VESPASIAN AVG COS III, rev. in exergue ROMA, Roma seated to left, holding wreath and parazonium, (cf,S.2351, RIC 394 [2nd edn.] [R2], C.411). Brown patina, nearly very fine/very fine, very rare.
