FAUSTINA SENIOR, wife of Antoninus Pius, posthumous issue (d.A.D. 141), AE as, (11.11 grams), issued after 147 B.C., obv. DIVA FAVSTINA, draped bust to right, rev. AVGV[STA], Ceres standing left holding corn ears in left hand and short torch in right hand, S C across field, (S.4646, RIC 1171, C.89). Dark brown patina, attractive good very fine, slightly off centred on reverse.
