JULIA MAESA, grandmother of Elagabalus, (c.A.D.218-225), silver antoninianus, Rome mint, issued 218-219, (4.59 grams), obv. draped bust to right on crescent, IVLIA MAESA AVG, rev. PIETAS AVG, Pietas standing left sacrificing over altar, holding box of incense, (S.7747, BMC 70, RIC 264, RSC 30). Toned, very fine.
