DIOCLETIAN, (A.D. 284-305), AE folles, Serdica mint, issued A.D. 305-6, (10.07 grams), obv. laureate bust of Diocletian to right with imperial mantle with olive branch and mappa, around D N DIOCLETIANO FELICISSIMO SEN AVG, rev. around PROVIDENTIA DEORVM QVIES AVGG, Providentia standing to right extending hand to Quies standing left, holding branch upwards, across S F and **D* between, .SM.SD. in exergue, (cf.S.3543, RIC 15a). Nearly extremely fine/good very fine, a rare type, issued after his abdication, comes with collectors card description.
