ROMAN, bronze fibula, (c.1st - 2nd century A.D.), length 75mm, with bronze hinged fibula, with iron pin, complete with ball end attachments (Lucien Lerat 113, Etlinder 21). Has been professionally cleaned, olive patination, rare, very fine and comes with collectors card description.
Ex Cappenalle Collection and believed to be recovered from a Roman cemetery discovered near Antoing, Scheldt Valley in the French Belgian border region.
