RUSSIA, Nicholas I, platinum twelve roubles, 1830 (Bitkin 39; Sev 601; Uzd 365; KM.C.179). Some edge nicks and bumps, minor surface marks and slightly polished, otherwise very fine and very rare, only 119 minted for this first year of issue.

The proceeds of the sale of this and the next lot are being donated to the University of Sydney Museums.
