BOLIVIA, Philip IV, (1621-1665), cob eight reales, Potosi Mint, (26.54 grams), assayer probably [T] off flan, issue c.1630, parts of 16 of date visible, a type known only for 1630 with cross-crosslet on obverse to the left of the shield above the P (Potosi) and above the 8 on the right of the shield, (Calbeto 998 [with cross-crosslet], KM.19a [type], Calico 464 [cross-crosslet not noted], cf.Cayon 6626 [cross-crosslet not noted]). Very fine for issue, slightly double struck on the reverse, of great rarity.
