HUNGARY, Maria Theresa, (1740-1780), silver ducat jeton of 1764, commemorating the visit Joseph II and Archduke Leopold to the Hungarian mines, (2.21 grams), obv. the crowned bust of Joseph and the uncrowned bust of Archduke Leopold face to face. rev. five lines of text and cross mallets; another similar example commemorating imperial visit by Franz and Maria Theresa to Hungarian mines in 1751, (2.20 grams), obv. busts vis ? vis of Franz wearing the Crown of Charlemagne and Maria Theresa in Holy Crown of St. Stephen, rev. six lines of text and crossed mallets. Extremely fine. (2)
