PAEONIA, Kingdom of, Patraos, (c.340-315 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (12.37 grams), obv. laureate head of Apollo to right, rev. horseman spearing fallen enemy, who holds shield, around traces of *[PATR]AOU*,lacking symbol or monogram, (S.1520, cf.Paeonian Hoard obv. 184, rev uncertain, BMC 6, cf.Weber 2232). Off centred on the obverse, poorly struck misshapen flan but of good weight, otherwise nearly extremely fine.
