BOEOTIA, Thebes, (378-338 B.C.), silver stater, (12.076 grams), obv. Boeotian shield, rev. amphora with letter AP KA either side, ivy leaves from amphora, (cf.S.2398, Hepworth Series D4, No.14, BMC 117-9, Weber 3271, SNG Delepierre 1299). Toned, off centred obverse, very fine and a scarce magistrate.
