MYSIA, Pergamon, Kingdom of Attalos I, (241-197 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.384 grams), Pergamon mint, obv. laureate head of Philetairos to right, rev. Athena seated to left on throne resting left arm on shield, and crowning legend **FILETAIROU, far left leaf, A before Athena, (S.7220, SNG von Aulock 1356, BMC 35). Some minor porosity, has been cleaned, otherwise good very fine, rare.

Ex Old private Collection, Superior Stamp and Coin Auction, June 2-3, 1998 (lot 6418) and Noble Numismatics Sale 59 (lot 1877).
