TI. CLAUDIUS, (c.79 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.60 grams), obv. Diana bust to right bow and quiver on shoulder, S.C. before, rev. Victory in biga to right, A.LXXXX below, TI CLAVD. TI.F/AP. N in exergue, (S.310, Cr.383/1, Syd.770, B.Claudia 5). Bankers mark on neck of obverse otherwise very fine.
The obverse relates to the Sabine origin of the Claudia gens.
