MAXIMIANUS, (A.D. 286-305 first reign), AE follis, Cyzicus mint, issued A.D. 297-9, (10.38 grams), obv. laureate head of Maximianus to right in high relief, around IMP C M A MAXIMIANVS P F AVG, rev. around GENIO POPV LI ROMANI, Genius standing to left, holding patera and cornucopiae, KE in exergue, (cf.S.3633, RIC 12b). Brown patina, extremely fine.
