CEYLON (SRI LANKA), Maldive Islands and Persian Gulf, silver larins as short lengths of silver wire doubled in two and made like a fish-hook, impressed with imitation Persian legends, used from 16th - 19th century, (Quiggin p.194ff text and illustration, M.2157-2162). Very fine. (18)
