NAVAL GENERAL SERVICE MEDAL 1847, - two clasps - 1 June 1794, 23rd June 1795. Michl Kinsale. Impressed. No ribbon, the two clasps issued as a single unit, small edge bump on reverse at about 8 o'clock, otherwise nearly extremely fine.

Confirmed on roll, 8917, Kinsale, Michael, 1 June 1794 Q/57, 23rd June 1795 Q/57, L.M. Valiant (Landman, HMS Valiant). The first clasp was issued for the action known as the Battle of The Glorious First of June. This was the first and largest fleet action of the naval conflict between England and France.
