VICTORIA CROSS, 2006, official 150th commemoration limited edition replica by official makers of the VC since 1856, Hancocks & Co of London, reverse engraved 'Hancocks / 169', this representing VC number 169 awarded to Lieutenant George Waller, 1st Bn, 60th Rifles, in Hancocks & Co padded case and with certificate of authenticity number 169 of a limited edition of 1,352 only. Uncirculated.

With the price of original VCs in the hundreds of thousands of dollars, this lot represents a chance to buy a limited edition medal by the official manufacturers. With details of Lt Waller's deed.
