LIDCOMBE TRIBUTE MEDAL, WWI, in silver (38mm) by Fames, obverse, Victory holding a wreath above a Gallipoli landing scene at dawn, reverse, unfurled scroll on which is engraved, 'A Tribute From / The Citizens / of / Lidcombe / On His Return From / Active Service / 1918', around the edge, 'He Heard His Country's Call', engraved on rim, 'Pte H.McGuire' with suspender and original ribbon. Small edge nick and bruise, dark tone, otherwise extremely fine and scarce.
