SYRIA, Kingdom of, Alexander I, (150-146 B.C.), silver drachm, (4.20 grams), Antioch on the Orontes mint, obv. diademed head of Alexander I to right within dotted border, rev. Apollo seated to left on omphalos, holding arrow and grounded bow, to right **[BA]SILEWS [A]LECANDROU*, to left **[Q]EOPATOROS [EU]ERGETOU*, in exergue **Q*, (S.7035, HGC 9, 887, SC 1785c, SMA 186). Toned, off centred on the obverse, otherwise very fine/good fine, scarce.
