C. VALERIUS FLACCUS, (140 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.72 grams), obv. Roma helmeted head right, XVI behind, rev. Victory in biga, holding whip, FLAC above, C.VAL.C.[F]. monogram below, ROMA in exergue, (S.103, Cr.228/1, Syd.441, RSC Valeria 8). Even grey patina, nearly extremely fine/very fine and a very rare type.
