AUGUSTUS, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), AE dupondius, posthumous issue, Rome mint, issued under Tiberius, (12.37 grams), issued A.D. 22-26, obv. radiate head of Augustus to left, DIVVS AVGVSTVS PATER around, rev. large S C within oak wreath, (S.1787, RIC 79, BMC 143, C.252). Attractive bronze patina, nearly very fine, scarce, with collector's ticket.
