NERO, (A.D. 54-68), AE As, Rome mint, issued A.D. 65, (8.96 grams), obv. laureate head of Nero to right, around NERO CAESAR AVG GERM IMP. rev. S C across, Victory flying left holding in both hands shield inscribed SPQR, (S.1976, RIC 312, BMC 241). Fine and scarce.
