ANCILIA IMPER[ATOR I]I, S C across, two ancilia (shields) side by side each with projections, (S.4293, RIC 736a, C.30). Brown patina, good fine and scarce.

Ex Garth R. Drewry Collection, CNG Triton XI Sale (lot 1785 part) and previously from A.H. Baldwin and Sons, London, in August 1973, together with Dr. Drewry ticket.
