ANCIENT ROMAN AND GREEK PROVINCIAL, a mixed lot including copies of Alexander I octadrachm (plugged), and a copy of Sabina sestertius (S.3940 BMC 1882 [a fine copy of this coin, illustrated Pl.99,2]); Greek Provincial, noted AE 29 of Aemilian (253-4 A.D.), issued at Aigeai, Cilicia, rev. Asklepios resting on serpent staff within a tetrastyle temple, (cf.SNG Levante 1789); others of Marcianopolis, Neapolis Samaria, Antioch Seleucis and Pieria, others (2); Roman, sestertii of Hadrian, Marcus Aurelius, Faustina Jnr, Lucilla, dupondius of Julius Caesar, (S.1417) (fair), asses of Trajan (2), Hadrian, Caracalla, semis of Trajan (S.3244), other Roman (4). Poor - good very fine. (22)
