CEYLON, (Sri Lanka), collection of seals, sealings and coin moulds, housed in a specially made wooden box, holding each item, the products of ancient Ruhuna, produced from the 3rd century B.C. - 7th century A,D., noted mould for the series of standing Lakshmi with handle (illustrated); others feature animals (mostly cows), a diverse range of shapes. Fine - very fine. (15)
