CONVICT LOVE TOKEN, engraved on shaved down halfpenny, with engraved milling around edge, obverse, engraved 'John / Porter and / Ann wilkinson', below engraved two overlaid hearts pierced by arrows, reverse, engraved full length image of young man facing. Some scratches on obverse, otherwise good very fine.

John Porter convicted at Essex, Boro of Colchester Quarter Session for a term of fourteen years on 12 January 1830. Transported on the Adrian, departed 13 April 1830 for New South Wales.
