LOVE TOKEN (?), engraved on a shaved down English halfpenny, obverse inscription, 'Mary / the / Maid / of the Inn / 1805' in the centre and 'Susan' (left) / 'Lovely' (right) around the edge, a crude cross-hatch pattern around the edge, reverse, monogram initials 'GR', holed at the top for suspension. Two bends, otherwise fine.
