EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy I, (323-285 B.C.), Alexandria mint, AE 20, (7.40 grams), obv. diademed head of Alexander III with horn of Ammon to right, rev. eagle open wings to left, around **BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOU*, nothing between legs, (cf.S.7765, Sv. 238, cf.SNG Cop.56). Very fine, brown patination after having been carefully cleaned.
