AUGUSTUS, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), AE dupondius or as, Nemausus mint, issued A.D. 10-14, (12.42 grams), obv. laureate head of Agrippa to left and laureate head of Augustus to right, above IMP across P P, below DIVI F, dotted border, rev. COL NEM on either side of palm-shoot, chained crocodile below, wreath above, two palm branches below, (S.1731, RIC 159, RPC 525, Sear GIC 158). Light patina with overall attractive appearance, otherwise nearly very fine and rare.
