GALBA, (A.D. 68-69), silver denarius, issued November 68 - January 69, Rome mint, (3.07 grams), obv. laureate head to right of Galba, around IMP SER GALBA CAESAR AVG PM, rev. Roma standing left, holding Victory and eagle-tipped sceptre, ROMA RENASCES around, (S.2107, RIC 229, RSC 208). Slight scratch on obverse, otherwise well centred, nearly very fine and rare.
