DOMITIAN, (A.D. 81-96), as Caesar under Titus, silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 80, (2.87 grams), obv. laureate head of Domitian to right, around CAESAR DIVI F DOMITIANVS COS VII, rev. goat standing to left within a laurel wreath, PRINCEPS IVVENTVTIS around, (S.2675, RIC 49 BMC 88, RSC 390). Flan chip, otherwise well centred and deeply toned, nearly very fine - very fine and scarce.
