PROVIDENTIA AVG around, Providentia standing to left, pointing to globe, holding sceptre, resting left elbow on column, (S.3531, RIC 262, RSC 1201); Septimius Severus, (A.D. 193-211), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued 198, (3.11 grams), obv. L SEPT SEV PERT AVG IMP X around, laureate head to right, rev. Mars standing left, holding olive branch and spear, resting foot on helmet, MARTI PACIFERO around, (S.6311, RIC 113, BMC 60, RSC 315). Good fine - nearly very fine. (2)
