SEPTIMIUS SEVERUS, (A.D.193-211), silver denarius, (3.79 grams), issued 207, Rome mint, obv. laureate head right, around SEVERVS PIVS AVG, rev. around RESTITVTOR VRBIS, Roma seated left on shield, holding palladium and sceptre, (S.6358, RIC 288, RSC 606); Moesia Inferior, Nicopolis ad Istrum, AE15, obv. laureate head of Severus right, rev. Hermes standing left holding purse and caduceus, (AMNG 1373). First coin with flan crack, otherwise toned, very fine - good very fine. (2)
