CARACALLA, (A.D. 198-217), silver antoninianus, issued 216, Rome mint, (5.20 grams), obv. radiate, draped and cuirassed bust to right of Caracalla, around ANTONINVS PIVS AVG GERM, rev. Jupiter standing to right holding thunderbolt and and sceptre, around P M TR P XVIIII COS IIII P P, (cf.S.6778, RIC 275c, RSC 338a, BMC 154). Toned, nearly extremely fine.
