CARACALLA, (A.D. 198-217), silver denarius, issued 212-213, Rome mint, (3.42 grams), obv. laureate head to right of Caracalla, around ANTONINVS PIVS AVG BRIT, rev. Moneta walking to left holding scales and cornucopiae, around MONETA AVG, (cf.S.6821, RIC 224, RSC 165). Lightly toned, extremely fine with some mint bloom.

Ex Harlan Berk with ticket. Includes previous owner’s ticket dated January 1967.
