MAXIMINUS I, (A.D. 235-238), silver denarius, Rome mint, (2.45 grams), issued 235-6, obv. IMP MAXIMINVS PIVS AVG, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, rev. VOTIS DECENNA LIBVS in three lines, all within laurel wreath, (S.8319, RIC 17, RSC 117). Large flan with small chip on edge, slightly off centre on reverse, otherwise good very fine - nearly extremely fine and rare.
