PROBUS, (A.D. 276-282), billon antoninianus, Siscia mint (3.75 grams), obv. radiate bust to left of Probus, wearing consular robes holding eagle tipped sceptre, around IMP C M AVR PROBVS P AVG, rev. Sol standing right, head left holding globe and raising right hand, around, CONSERVAT AVG, P to right, in exergue XXI, (cf.S.11969, RIC 672, RIC 187). Darkly toned, broad flan, extremely fine and rare.

Ex Harlan Berk with ticket. Alfoeldi listed only two examples, Vienna and Rome.
