CHINA, Qing (Ch'ing) Dynasty, (1644-1912), pair of calligraphy brush stands, of hexagonal form on six legs, the six vertical panels containing impressed lines of inscription, possibly relating to a funerary rite, (140mm high). Both in excellent condition, one retains the original wax seal export permit on the rim.
Ex Phillip Harding collection. Very rare as a pair.
