ANDRONICUS III, (1328-1341), AE trachy, (0.964 grams), obv. winged patriarchal cross, rev. half length figures of Andronicus to left and St. Demetrius to right, holding long cross between them, star in cloud above, (S.2483, Bendall LPC 3 [p.234], Bendal PCPC 270). Odd shaped flan, otherwise very fine or better, rare.
