MOESIA INFERIOR, Istros, (400-350 B.C.), silver stater, (5.358 grams), obv. two young male heads facing, side by side, left inverted, right upright, rev. sea-eagle standing to left on dolphin to left, which it attacks with its beak, above **ISTRIH, AP* monogram below dolphin, (cf.S.1669; SNG BMC 247-8, Pick 417, SNG Stancomb 147). Nearly extremely fine, rare.
