THESSALY, Larissa, (350's-340's B.C.), silver drachm, (6.028 grams), obv, facing head of nymph Larissa three-quarter to left, within dotted border, rev. horse grazing to right, with head turned facing, above **LARIS, in exergue **AIWN, with plant below, (cf.S.2120-1, cf.SNG Cop. 121, Hermann Pl.V, 12). Bright, of finest style, off centred obverse and reverse, otherwise nearly extremely fine and scarce.
